Stop trying to “make the sale”, and you’ll start to make money online…
Hey everyone! Leland Best here at Megabit Affiliate. Just a short video and text file. Going to do something a little different here today that I haven’t done before. I’m going to try and both run a video and an audio and who knows what else altogether at the same time.
The topic for today is, “So you want to make money online? Well stop acting like it!” The biggest things I think people run into a snag with is trying to get all showman like and trying to get all salesy and pitchy. They get out here online and they just want to “try try try” to produce an income and I think part of the problem that lies inherent to that is people realize when you’re trying to make money off of them.
Here’s a video that was created at the exact same time the text in this blog was produced using a new “speech-to-text” software technology available to anyone! Ask me all about it!
Part of the thing we need to understand is, first and foremost, we want to build some trust with our audience and we want people to be able to relate to us and we want people to get to know us better so that when it comes time to give a review or a recommendation on something that we use in our business, people are going to open their eyes and they’re going to open their ears going to finally understand that it’s you that they’re watching and they get a better feel by taking advice from you as someone they can trust and like.
Don’t be like all the rest
So, if I can give any advice to anyone out there, just be yourself and learn to just be the person you are. Don’t stand in line with all the others out there who are like “Hey come get this product that’s great, can’t wait to have it! Be the first on your block to have $10,000 worth of stuff for 5 grand!” and I still see it… it goes on all day long, everyday out here in this business, there’s people out there who make it out to be that they have THE product that’s going to get you over the hurdle, that’s going to make you money online and I’m sorry folks but most of that hype is just to suck you in and make you believe that what they’re selling is the only thing out there that’s going to work for you. Don’t fall for that crap!
Anbody, and I mean anybody, can honestly earn a living online without being a showman. All you have to do is get out there, you know what I’m doing right now I’m just recording a video I’m actually collecting text off the audio in the background so I’m kind of doing a two fold exercise here. This is kind of a test, not only for whether I could just get up on the mic and talk… to be myself, but it’s also to try out some systems that I have working the background to see if they can save me some time and effort in my business.
How complicated can it be?
You know, basically I’m running a voice to text speech synthesizer in the background. I have the audio/video track being recorded right here live in the front of me when I’m talking to you and I’m going to see if I can’t produce a blog page that I don’t even have to lay a finger on except for maybe to do a few edits and the text and some punctuation, I’m sure, because I’m not saying things like: “and at the end of this sentence, “period”. I get to the beginning of the “new paragraph”, etc. And and that’s how this voice to text software works. I’m going to have to go back through and correct all the information as I go but..
I just wanted to get out here and let everyone know if you want to make money online, like I said, “stop acting like it”, just be yourself get to know the audience that’s watching you. Follow your analytics a little bit to see where they’re coming from, the type of demographic that they are, whether they’re 18-25 or 30-45 or whatever age group is really interested in what you do. Then, try to focus in on those people and become part of that community and learn to understand your audience better and that will be the one thing that takes you forward as you continue to build your business online.
So once again, this is Leland Best out at The Megabit Affiliate, thanks for stopping by and watching this video and we’ll see you in the next one, take care everybody!
